Is making a front line of evo max droidekas a good idea?

It is not a bad idea. I have seen many successful forms run with them. A your level it is strong, eventually you will outgrow it but it would be awhile before you did. If you do go that route though you should heavily consider switching to darkside altogether if you haven't already, as you will be missing out on the force side bonus.

Also, I would strongly get an 8/15 or 4/7 4* gg skill 40. It ups droid attack. It's useful since its only got like 5000 attack.

Droidekas in my opinion. I run two and they are a great buffer for emax 5* cards. they stall due to the 12,000 defense

I would prefer droidekas personally as well.
